All people are equal and deserve dignity and respect. We welcome everyone regardless of caste, color, sex, background, status, or religious affiliation. Our doors are open to all.

We believe in building strong, supportive communities. Through collaboration with other organizations and continuous engagement with residents, we strengthen the social fabric of Timmins.
We provide a welcoming space for spiritual exploration, meditation, and inner peace. Our spiritual center offers daily opportunities for prayer, reflection, and connection with the divine.
Diversity is our strength. We celebrate and embrace people from all backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. Everyone has a place in our community.

Our spiritual home and community center
11341219 Canada Society is closely affiliated with the Sikh Sangat Gurdwara Timmins, a Sikh place of worship that serves as a beacon of spiritual light and community service in Northern Ontario.
The Gurdwara embodies the Sikh ethos of selfless service and universal brotherhood, welcoming people of all faiths and backgrounds. It serves as both a spiritual center for prayer and meditation, and as a community hub for charitable activities and outreach programs.
Key practices include:
To create a compassionate community in Timmins where no one faces hardship alone, where spiritual growth is accessible to all, and where the principles of selfless service and universal brotherhood guide our collective actions.
We envision a society where differences are celebrated, where every person is treated with dignity and respect, and where the spirit of giving enriches both those who serve and those who are served.
To serve the Timmins community through:
Making a difference in Timmins, one person at a time
Through our programs and events, we bring together people from diverse backgrounds, creating lasting friendships and a stronger, more connected community in Timmins.
From emergency shelter to hot meals to counseling support, we provide critical services that help community members overcome challenges and regain stability.
